1980s Sculpture Liles also creates minimalist sculptures. A series of large acrylic towers are basically 3-dimensional canvases of colored stripes, mimicking in plastic the stripe paintings of Paris. Using found objects, he makes sculptures from toy Legos, employing the modern sensibility of Pop Art in his explorations.
